I like to apply distortion, delay or reverb just to small sections sometimes. But having a different track for those would often result in the tail overlapping with the non-effected sections, when I really want it to cut off abruptly instead. So I just blend in the effect for a short time… Like in the good old days. 😆
Sonar has this “clip fx” feature too, I believe.
So does Reaper
Would be good for Podium to have this.
