This page describes what kind of personal information is collected when you register an account on zynewave.com.
The information you enter on the registration form is stored in a database on the zynewave.com server. The account data enables you to log in and download future updates of your registered software products.
When you are logged in you can enter additional information on your profile page found under the Account menu. Some of this information will be visible to other zynewave.com visitors if you create posts on the zynewave.com forums. Your user page found under the Account menu shows all the publicly available information about you.
When you make a purchase on zynewave.com you will be redirected to the PayPal website where you can securely transfer payment to the Zynewave PayPal account. When the payment is completed Zynewave receives an email from PayPal with information about your full name and address. Emails from PayPal are stored at the Zynewave office and are legally required of Zynewave for reporting and payment of VAT to EU countries. Zynewave does not receive credit card numbers or any other details that pose a security risk to your PayPal transaction.
Any customer data collected by Zynewave, whether it is stored on the zynewave.com server or at the local Zynewave office, is stored securely and is only accessible by the Zynewave administrator. The data is not shared with third parties.
When you log in, a cookie with your login information is stored by your web browser. Login cookies last for two days. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Zynewave uses the Google Analytics service to obtain statistical data about visitors to the zynewave.com website. This includes details such as geo location, web browser, search engine keywords and referral websites. This information is only available to the Zynewave administrator and is used to monitor traffic and to learn about what brings visitors to zynewave.com.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
If you post on the zynewave.com forums, an anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the gravatar.com service to see if you are using it.
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data that Zynewave hold about you. You can also request to have your account erased including any personal data. This does not include any data that Zynewave are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Be aware that deletion of your account will prevent you from downloading updates to your software, and will prevent you from renewing your upgrade period in the future.
