Hi H-man,
yes I tried them and that’s actually the reason for my post.
A mouse is quite powerful if its functions are funneled to spacial actions without modifiers, it increases execution’s speed in the pianoroll where ideas are turned into music leaving the other hand available for the keyboard. We do the same thing on the piano: left hand on the keys, right hand pencil and paper very often, naturally.

No quite but at the very very top though (In some respect, yes, way above the competition taken as an overall list of possibilities).

Thank you for your input. I really like Podium and I hope that Frits will find the time to increase the user’s options for a more flexible mouse behavior. (I worked as a beta tester for another program in refining the mouse behavior and I know how many new users jumped in after this issue was resolved. It really impacts performance if you are inclined to write directly rather than via keyboard).

Trust me, the rest of the program is more then I need, it’s beautiful and looks like it’s going to give the competition some hard time, already as it is….
