Speed optimized sound file streaming during playback.
Pressing play will preload a couple of seconds of the sound files before playback starts. This causes a slight pause depending on the number of sound files, but reduces the risk of file streaming exhaustion soon after playback starts.
The supported size of standard Wave files is extended from 2GB to 4GB.
Saving sounds that require more than 4GB file sizes will use the RF64 Wave file extension format.
The Mix/File CPU indicator flashes red if file streaming is too slow and causes gaps in the output.
This release implements new code for file loading and saving, so it is recommended that you make a backup of your project and wave files before saving with this new version.
