ZynewaveKeymaster- Added support for the Mackie control surface standard. This includes Mackie Control Universal (MCU), MCU Pro, Logic Control and surfaces from other manufacturers that support Mackie emulation mode (e.g. Behringer BCF2000). The MIDI/Audio interfaces dialog has a new “Detect Mackie compatible control surface” option for each MIDI output.
- The MCU “Undo” button will put the control surface in help mode. Pressing any button in help mode will show a description in the LCD display. The Podium guide is extended with a control surface chapter providing an overview of the control surface support.
- Using the keyboard to navigate tracks in the mixer will auto-scroll so that the focus track is always in view.
- Added “follow focus track” option to the mixer view menu. If a control surface is connected the menu also has a “follow control surface” option.
- Multiple MIDI and sound files can be dropped onto tracks in a single drag operation. Each file will be placed on a separate track.
- The Shift+Q/W shortcuts to move the play cursor now uses the editor quantize value instead of always stepping a full bar.
- Changed the default Podium setup so that the embedded list panel is wider and shows the file list instead of the object list.

Nice additions! Now as my birthday is soon, won’t anybody buy me a BCF2000 π . I like the ability to drop multiple files into Podium! Will try this evening, thanks for the update!

Nice !
But PLEASE, add an option, a dialog box or a modifier key to allow to put all the files on the same track.July 25, 2007 at 07:14 #10457
