The .pod file format has been updated in this release, so please make backups of your older projects before saving, if you intend to go back to previous Podium releases.
I’m astonished about how polished and smooth you’re making the interface and the workflow. Addding a new drums track using a template is a breeze.
Please continue this work… I’m sure I’ll be rewarded π

+1 – drum sequencing in Podium is pleasant experience now π
thanks Frits
Thank you so much Frits! I don’t usually offer much input, as I’m still kinda new and all, but I check the posts first thing every day. It’s going from great to greater. Be seeing you-
Having lots of drums I thought that I could colour hihats in red, but when I opened the menu to colour drums I was lost because I didn’t know where the hihats were. Could you use the same names in the popup window that we have in the piano/drum roll, please?
This doesn’t seem to work when Podium extract the key names from the plugin, it only works when you write the names manually
Something about the ghost notes opacity seems to have changed, and now they’re different on white and black keys.
It still looks fine when using the ‘colorize note events…’ option.
Default theme and default ghost note opacity setting of 25%:
Suggestion: in the drum map (but not limited to), it would be useful to have a “paint” tool, which is probably faster to use than having to draw single notes, and more precise than holding the insert key to duplicate. Or it could be available with a modifier key for, e.g., the pencil tool (Alt-click to paint?)

The audition behaviour has been modified so that audition will stop when the mouse button is released, even if the note event duration is longer.
Thank you very much!!! Awesome!

Previously the ghost notes were painted with a solid color determined by a contrast setting. As of 2.31, ghost notes are painted translucent, with an opacity percentage instead of a contrast percentage. I found this to be necessary since the note lines can now be colored in the note map. If you have overlapping notes on multiple tracks, it will be emphasized because multiple translucent paints are overlapped.
I forgot to mention in the release notes that there is a new youtube video about the note map feature:
Thanks π
It seems when you create a new instance of, e.g., a bus mapping below which is a folder, the new mappings are added inside that folder: GIF animation (170 KB).

Fixed.
