Topic: A problem with Electri-Q – posihfopit edition

    Hello Frits.

    I’ve got a problem with freeware eq ‘Electri-Q – posihfopit edition’.

    Every time when I’m trying to open the GUI of it with ‘e’ keyboard shortcut, plugin crashes. But when I open Electri-Q GUI by mouseclick, it’s OK. Is it something with my machine, or there’s a bug?

    Yes confirmed here, I get the same thing. It opens fine using the mouse but the ‘e’ shortcut causes it to crash.

    Downloaded, tested and confirmed. The crash you experience occur in the plugins EditKeyUp() function when you release the E key. The plugin seems to crash when pressing any key until you have clicked the window to remove the intro screen and then clicked once again inside the curve display. To me this seems like a problem in the plugin.

    I’ll email the developer Christian Budde and let him know, hopefully he will be able to fix it pretty easily. ALthough to be honest since moving to Podium I’m using zPEQ mainly now 🙂

    Yeah, zPEQ is wonderful. ‘Electri-Q – posihfopit edition’ is interesting beacause of Chebyshev and Butterworth filters.

    I emailed the developer of poshifopit today and will let you know what he says if/when he gets back to me.

    Yes with zPEQ and ‘Electri-Q – posihfopit edition’ we’re certainly spoilt for choice 😀

    Hi guys

    Christian Budde replied to say:

    “thanks for the info about the bug. I already found it and fixed it.
    Unfortunately I do not have much time right now to create a bugfix for
    that. But you can be sure, that it will be included in the next major
    bugfix release (at the end of this month).”

    so it should hopefully be fixed in a few weeks 🙂

    The latest version of poshifopit seems to be working fine now in Podium 🙂
