I discovered these because I found a synth I really like during the KVR DC’12 contest. Synthescience is the maker of the new Poly 2106, a Juno family type of synth that I’m enjoying greatly. They also make Prodigious, the synth that started them off, and it is quite nice as well.
I noticed on their website that they had free plugins under development and promised them soon. They released the lot of them a couple of days ago. I honestly have not tried but two; however I did download all 18. I’m not looking for any new and standard-function FX plugins but couldn’t resist salting them away for perhaps another day. I tell you, if they know how to build a synth such as the Poly and other synth, I trust they have done well with the plugs.
