Doug BParticipantFinally getting some time to dig into Podium; but I can not figure out how to add effects to the track
Are effects called something different in Podium?
How do I add a Classic Reverb to a track with a MiniMonsta vsti already on it?
I have tried adding the verb to the same track, but that results in the Mini being replaced. Also tried putting the reverb on a subtrack, but no reverb was heard. π
Thanks in advance.

ZynewaveKeymasterHi,
Currently you can only have one mapping per track. The audio flows from the bottom of the track branches and upwards towards the master output, so you need to put the effect on a new parent track to the track with your synth. Use the ‘wrap in new group track’ track menu on the track with your synth. Select the effect plugin on the new group track.

super_crunchyParticipantHi Improv
You sound like a new user to Podium, so you might find this tutorial I wrote in January is helpful

Podium has changed a bit since it was written, but the stuff covered in the tutorial will work the same I think

Thanks, I’ll have a look. BTW-not a new user. More an old-new user. I got Podium several months back and am only now getting back to it after using Tracktion and Cubase SX2. Time for a change! π

Thanks, Fritz and SC! Once I tried your advice it’s really quite simple-just different.
Are there limits on the number of effects per track that you can use? If there are limitations, I was thinking of using eXT as the insert and then use a saved fx chain in eXT until things change. Or is there a better way?

You can only assign one mapping per track, so the limit is one effect per track. Using eXT to wrap an effects chain is a way to do it. I have plans for implementing a kind of wrapper mapping, so that you can route several effects on one track.

Thanks, eXT will do for now! π
