Yes. I had imagined a ‘zScope’ plugin which could show both real-time frequency response in a plot similar to zPEQ, and also historic spectrum analysis displayed as a horizontally scrolling color-coded plot. No deadline yet though. I plan to experiment with zMaster and zReverb before this.
I’ve tried the EAS Inspector, it’s nice for checking for clipping and phase correalation.. However, when it comes to frequency analysis, I think it’s simply too unprecise.
I highly recommend you try Fre(a)koscope instead. 😉
ooh thanks for the recommendation, that does look a bit clearer… seeing the dominant pitch will be handy for me too since i make quite a lot of dirty drum n bass style sounds that have to be beaten into shape by eq but still sound in tune and for now i was just referencing off the top of my head.

I haven’t made any development on a zScope plugin. There are a good number of freeware analysis plugins available, so I think my time is better spent on Podium features. It still would be a nice project for the future, once the next 100 or so Podium features have been implemented.
I think I’ve tried all the free offerings and this one came out tops. Although released as magazineware it is available free directly from Nugen’s website.
