I have a minor frustration when working with arrangements with tempo changes…
When I record I always start the recording a minimum of 1 bar before the actual timespot I want to record. With the new clip fade functionality this woks even better for me as I can now easily silence some of the extraneous noise without adjusting the start of the clip.
Now the problem I have is that if I have a temp change at the spot in time I want to record from, I have the previous blank bar at a different time signature. If I had to move the clip I would move the start of the clip to the time signature change, move the clip and then move the start of the clip back to the original start point. (Note: I had a concern that doing this would mess up the fade but it retains the fade settings very well, even when you minimize the clip to a ridiculously small size).
It would be much easier if I could assign a pointer on the clip and use that for movement. In my example, I would assign a pointer at the time change then I would drag the clip from the pointer to any spot on the timeline. This would eliminate the need to adjust the start of the clip prior to and after moving the clip.
