Hello, I just downloaded Podium Free for use with my Line 6 UX2. I have successfully recorded a guitar track to test it out and mess around with some things. Upon playback, no sound was to be heard. In the audio interfaces I have the Microsoft GS Wave whatever selected. I would like to get the sound to play out through my computer speakers so I don’t have to go buy a 1/8″ to 1/4″ connector.

I read some FAQ and saw one about some sort of volume selector for the events. I can’t find and volume knobs or sliders anywhere. All I see re gain settings; no volumes.

Can someone tell me If I have a setting screwed up or something?

What you have referred to is a midi output.

Go to Setup-MIDI/Audio Interfaces, and there are 3 tabs. The first, MIDI, make sure that Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth is turned OFF. From what I’ve seen, very few people need to use it, and it has caused people to be unable to playback.

Then, go to the Audio tab, and preferably select ASIO Drivers. Then you should be able to select your sound card from there. If it isn’t already selected, of course. If it is, then you won’t have to change anything,

If you do change your audio interface, you may have to reset the audio devices. But, one step at a time. Please try this and let us know how it goes. Also, if it doesn’t work, could you please list all the ASIO drivers you have on your system, from the drop down box in the setup section?
