PodianerParticipantWow!! The currently 1.6 release is fantastic. I’d like to take the chance to tell everybody that I LOVE Podium!! 8) What a funtastic reverb. Even the EQ is better than the channl-eq from Cubase, imo.
Look at the screens! Is there any host out there that can look THAT cool? I really doubt that. The last days I worked extensively with this app, and I’ve overcome all my initial problems with it. All my problems were due to the fact that I am used to other hosts. To think differently is so refreshing! I really hope that Podium will be advertised and respected the way it deserves, soon!!
Thank you Frits, and keep up your good work!!

ZynewaveKeymasterThank you Frits, and keep up your good work!!
Thanks Max, I appreciate your support.
Btw. I hope you have tried some of the other zReverb presets, other than the “Anechoic Room” that is shown in your screenshots 😉

PodianerParticipantI certainly have!! 8)
I find myself playing with all the knobs and wonder how unlimited the possibilities are. 🙄

MaxParticipantWell, Podium is the best, really. I love this sequencer. Big thanks to Frits.

TechnophobiaParticipantI have to agree with both of you. A big up to Podium 😀
I’ve done more work over the last month or so with Podium than the last 2 Years with Sonar 4. If that isn’t a testament to how good and sensible Podium is, I don’t know what would be.
Keep up the good work Frits. Looking forward to the future releases with pleasure.

xis23ParticipantAye, am really enjoying it too! My favourite features are the ghost notes in the arrangement window (makes harmonising easy), the tidy and organised display, the ease of colouring and the low memory/cpu useage.

ConquistadorParticipantStability, workflow, plug ins (that reverb!), support, preset management e.t.c blah blah you get the picture. 🙂
After seeing Frits work with the first two zplugs a zCompressor would be absolutely great. 8)

Yes… but I hope after having completed some of the more awaited basic features of Podium like fades, audio events volume, link of automation sequences or grouping ! 😉
I join my voice to sing Frits’ praises !
What I do in Podium couldn’t simply be done if it doesn’t exist…June 9, 2006 at 08:06 #6884

😆 Too true Acousmod, I almost forgot about those! I would certainly wait for another plug if necessary if it meant we would get clip fades e.t.c.
There is also a long standing “pre scheduling” issue that causes audio dropouts that will hopefully be addressed at some point. That is definitely my no.1 priority. Easily.
I guess as much as I want the compressor there are indeed more pressing issues to address. At least Frits is fully aware of them and when he can, I think he will certainly address all of these issues. 😉
Another favourite aspect of Podium for me is the wonderfully tiny footprint on your harddrive. Just under 6mb! Almost nothing considering what is packed into it. 😉 Also I don’t think any information is stored in the windows registry. Sweet. 🙂
