My soundcard is a Creative Audigy 2 ZS Pro
In Podium I can only run in two channel mode as follows…..

Its good if you start with a clean slate.May 29, 2004 at 14:16 #3308
ZynewaveKeymasterIt appears that Podium fails to check that the current sample rate is still valid after changing driver.
Using ASIO DirectX Driver, sample rate is set to 44100. Changing to SB Audigy driver, the 44100 is not supported by the driver, which probably caused the problem you saw. I’ll check my code for this.

I get that error with the demo – Audigy 2 Plat runs 48k in AISO but podium warns it cannot stream at 44.1 (latest demo)

ZynewaveKeymasterFirst check that the default samplerate in the interfaces dialog is set to 48000. Furthermore when you want to work with arrangements you should set the samplerate in the arrangement properties dialog to 48000. The Freebees demo project are set to use 44100, so you need to change the samplerate to 48000 in the demo arrangements.

papawillowParticipantHi Spe3d,,,, I was able to get the Freebies.pod project working at 44.1 by selecting the ASIO DirectX Driver from my driver list. Maybe the Freebies.pod has project settings which allow it to only work at 44.1..
anyway here is the report of my settings to get audio with the Freebies.pod project.

**************************************All my other .pod projects are at 48KHz using the
Audigy ZS ASIO [B800] Driver so I can use all 20 I/O’s available.Switching between Sampling Rates I sometimes get the message “Could not start 44100 audio streaming” even though I know my project is 48KHz,,,,I just close Podium and restart it and then make the change.
I think improved Demos are on the cards.

EDIT:….. I see there is already a response,,,, I am so slow at typing.June 20, 2004 at 10:19 #3555
Spe3dParticipantHi! Papawillow, 🙂
