musicmakerukParticipantIs there an auto-save feature in Podium? If not, then it’d be nice to have one.
Also, I ctrl-s quite a lot but I get no visual confirmation that the save was successful; so a little pop-up notification or a flash of the screen or some other visual confirmation would also be good.
🙂 Cheers.

jpleongParticipantI always do ctrl+shift+alt+s to make sure everything gets saved.

Agree with that – some little icon that flashes to confirm a save would be helpful.

ZynewaveKeymasterI’ve added a save-confirmation blink to the project name written in the top title bar.

Nice addition. Thanks.
But how exactly would this work? Would it blink if any changes are made to a project and stop when changes are saved?Or would it blink a few times once you have saved a project to confirm it has been saved?

haikuParticipantsounds like it’ll just blink when you use the keyboard shortcut so you know it worked – right?

That does sound like it but I just wondered if Frits would clarify. In any case we will see soon enough.

acousmodParticipantDon’t you think that a sign placed together the project name in the title bar is better that a blink while saving ?
You always know its state, if it is saved or not.
Most softwares use an asterisk, or for those which have a toolbar it is often the color of the save icon.
Reaper shows [modified] in the title bar, it disapear when you save. It is clear and efficient…September 6, 2007 at 16:48 #10772

ConquistadorParticipantFrits, it might be better if you provide a screenshot to avoid potentially re doing all your work after 1.95 is released.
Better to revise while you are working on it as we all seem to have different views on it.
It would also let me possibly see if there is any progress on the Device set up idea I suggested as a solution to a rather large problem that is of course now very well documented

ZynewaveKeymasterWill this also be the case when saving without using Keyboard shortcuts?
Yes.
