While waiting for the audio fades and “meta events” (for moving automation sequences together with audio and MIDI sequences) features, there is two “little” things that perhaps it will be possible to improve in the near future and will help me a lot for every day work (already discussed, it is just a “reminder”) : audio edges events snapping and continue to play audio while moving or splitting audio sequences.
I know that you have already allow to resize the end of an event without stopping it to play it, but it works only when we resize the end, not the begining.
And actually, when we move or split an audio event we must always stop and restart playing to audition the change.
It is something that has become so “natural” to do in the other hosts, that I suppose that it is not only a personnal preference.
Concerning the snapping, well, it is very difficult to do audio montage without it…
