Topic: Band / horizontal highlight…

    When working in Segment or Loop mode for example one can see a curtain appear that provides a gentle vertical highlight / curtain for the selected area. Very useful as a guide to what area has focus. 😉

    Frits is it possible to also have a horizontal highlight / band for any track that is selected as well? It would make it far easier to indentify a track when one has zoomed out from a project and is working on arranging many tracks.

    I really would find this useful. It would have come in handy today 😆

    Some hosts have this, it is a very simple but useful feature. 😉

    Edit: Of course this could be optional for those that do not want it.

    I’ve been trying to post an image here for ages, something is wrong somewhere…no can do 🙄

    Anyway I have used image shack so here goes…this is a Tracktion screenshot that provides a very good example…

    I took it a step further and added an option to apply the track color to the lane (opacity 0-100, 0 will disable the coloring). This will also color the focus track with the select color, plus it looks neat with the colored track groups having their lanes colored as well.

    Well…what can I say? 🙂 I thought the original idea was good but your idea is far better!!! Thanks :mrgreen:
