Topic: Bit confused about time signature support.

    Hi there,

    I originally gave up on Podium a little while ago because I couldn’t seem to set it up properly, but the Wizard (which I didn’t use the last time) helped set everything up perfectly, so I’m happily into Podium now and thoroughly enjoying the workflow and work paradigm.

    One thing though, when I set a marker to 3/4, it gives me 3 bars of 4 quarters?

    I’m a little confused, I expected to still have 4 bars but 3 quarter notes per bar as in traditional notation?

    Any help appreciated, and great work on an awesome app. šŸ™‚

    It probably is the digits in the timeline that is misleading you. The beat numbers are written with a dot before the number and with a slightly smaller font than bar numbers. So the bar/beat labels for 3/4 are: 1 .2 .3 2 .2 .3 3 etc.

    lol! I knew I should have gone for a good TFT.

    My CRT monitor is so blurry that I didn’t see the decimal point and confused it with the standard bar numbers.
