This may have already been covered, but I just discovered Podium takes the output of this meter, if the effect track is armed for record, and records it in three automation tracks.

One track records the level from the meter. You can invert this an use it to automate volume ducking on another track or for driving compression thresholds on a second track (I get confused trying to route sidechains in Podium).

Another track records were clips occured. I find this extremely useful in trying to level a mix.

There is a third track. I am unsure what it does.

Anyway, just wanted to pass along this find, and the plugin is FREE.

    Interesting! sounds very useful.

How does one invert the curve?

    Thanks

To invert an automation curve, from the edit menu in the Automation Editor, select “Select All Events”. Then, from the edit menu, select “Invert Points”.
