Topic: Can you help me change my master track output?

    When I open an old project, maybe from 2.5 or so, in 2.9 it shows the master track as analog 1/2 from my old fireface 800. However, the audio card is now a digi 03. How can I change the master to digi 03 so my tracks play again? They are all there but they show mute.

    If I create a new project the sound card shows up correctly, as digi 03 asio. I really need this tune to play!

    Create a new project with your new sound card, and save it as a project template. Load your old project and use the “Project Templates > Load Device Setup” submenu to replace your old device setup with your new setup. You may need to select a different master output mapping, if your monitors are connected to different channels on your new soundcard.

    Well, that is not the problem. Other songs open up and play fine.

    Why are all of my tracks mute buttons on this project slightly greyed out? If I hit a mute button it shows bright yellow. Solo shows bright green. Any ideas what have done?

    Maybe you have a plugin in the master chain that cannot be loaded. Check if there are any red icons next to plugins in the devices list on the project page.
