I have already speak about this but I don’t remember to have an answer.

When we overlap two clips (crossfade) and after separate them, the end and start fades are not reinitialized, the previous crossfade values remains as fades.
Logically there must be no fades at all, like before they have been overlapped.
If people need that the crossfades values remain as fades perhaps it could be an option ?

    +1

Yes please, this will save a good deal of time by doing away with having to re adjust previously cross faded clips. This can become quite fiddly in a busy mix.
