    Hi guys!
would be very nice to have curve editors in the place where now we have the velocity editor….

    Hi lalo,

I’ll consider this as another vote for ‘in-place’ curve editing in the arrangement editor. The curve sequences are not related to note sequences other than their track-relationship in the arrangement editor. So embedding a curve editor into a keyboard editor window would be a mess, both in the UI and in the code.

    ok…
another idea could be..if the keyboard editor is opened you can have automatically opened a selected curve editor part…ant have them horizontally stacked…
is hard when doin’ fine automations strictly related to the note part if you can’t see the actual notes…
in-place in the arrangment is good anyway..

If you put the parameter tracks as child tracks to the note sequence track, then the notes will be drawn on the background of the curve editor.

    Hi,

the technique works also with audio tracks, but if it is a parameter track of a plugin for this audio track it can’t be at the same time a child of the audio, no ?
Is there a trick to obtain nevertheless this result in this case ?

Not by default layout. If the child track containing the audio playing into the plugin does not have a mapping assigned, then it may work if you move the plugin parameter tracks as child tracks under the audio track. The audio may then show in the curve editor, but the track layout would be somewhat confusing.
