Topic: Everything rushing by too fast

    Sorry for all the questions – not used this for a few updates and so much has changed. I can’t seem to set how small increments are in the horizontal zoom range any more so when I record a song instead of seeing it appear before me it’s just vanishing out of site too fast – I used to just have it zoomed well out so I could see the track unfolding as I created it – how can I get that back?

    edit I can see once I’ve made a track I can zoom to it’s full size by doubleclicking on the navigator pane but I want to be able to see the whole thing without scrolling as it is created (so set it up to that zoom level beforehand). I liked the old zoom + – arrangement – more controllable (like vertical zoom still has)

    Here are some of the many ways to zoom:
    – Use the mouse wheel to scroll on the navigator or the timeline
    – Select the Zoom X/Y tool and click-drag over the arrangement
    – Hold CTRL+ALT and use mouse wheel or click-drag to scroll only horizontally

    Otherwise you can also get the old scrollbar back, of course. Go to the arrangement view menu > editor profile properties > insert new > scrollbar > move it to where you want with the up/down buttons!

    Thanks – that works best for me – easier to control and see everything
