    Can you have a child MIDI sequence track containing only raw note events, fed into a parent track or tracks that contain only expressive MIDI commands such as pitch, volume, etc.?

    I’m thinking it may be a bit easier to manage when the two are separated, but not sure…I’d like to experiment with it anyhow.

    If you have an instrument track, you can convert it to a group track, and then move the note sequences to child tracks. That way you can manage multiple overlaid note sequences playing to the same instrument. But you cannot have parameter tracks as parent/group tracks. They must be a bottom branch in the hierarchy.
