Topic: FR: pencil tool to rearrange tool shortcut

    I find when midi editing that I’m constantly switching between the pencil and rearrange tools, yet there appears to be no shortcut for this.
    Any chance this could be added in the near future?

    How about using the D and F keys to step back and forward between the tools that are available in the editor toolbar? Shift+D/F could then step the quantize value, and C could toggle quantize on/off.

    I have just implemented the I and O keys to toggle punch in/out modes. If we can find a key for the metronome (perhaps U or N?), then all toolbar mode buttons should have a key shortcut.

    Yeah, that’ll work fine for me. Though currently ‘alt’ toggles the segment tool, it would suit me better if it toggled the rearrange tool. Perhaps others would disagree šŸ™‚
