    Hi,

    I’ve just picked up a copy of Podium and am an acoustic fan trying his hand at digital sequencing. I’ve got a Yamaha MIDI keyboard which simply refuses to play with the Podium software. The software registers the MIDI signals in but I can’t hear anything and nothing registers in the viewing panel of the system.

    I’ve tried all configurations of the MIDI set up I can think of and now feel a bit lost – any ideas? A few years (8-9) ago I used Cubase Audio to do some recording with the same keyboard but the same set ups don’t seem to work.

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi Dave,

    I’ll try to take it from the beginning then too: You don’t mention what kind of instrument you are using to generate sound. Are you trying to play a softsynth plugin with your MIDI keyboard?
