super_crunchyParticipantHi
I’ve just completed my first full track from start to finish in Podium – unfortunately I can’t post an mp3 because it’s a remixSome features really stood out as I completed a whole track
– the bounce track feature (once you get used to it) is heaps better than any freeze I’ve seen in any host, it’s fantastic!
– being able to colour code tracks (in track properties) is great and I’m glad Podium has this feature already. Helps workflow for sure
– generally it’s just really easy to arrange and mix a track. The group track thing is really working for me, it’s greatQuestion
– when will fade in/out be available for individual audio clips in the arrange page? I noticed that as I copied audio clips, and sliced them up, some had nasty clicks which I had to remove in an external editor by doing short fades. I know you plan to implement this in Podium which would make life so much easierThanks for this excellent sequencer, cheers

stefancrsParticipantJust imagine being able to use Podiums bounce track feature in non-realtime π “bounce now”!

ZynewaveKeymasterHi, thanks for the praise π
when will fade in/out be available for individual audio clips in the arrange page?
Sometime early next year. The next big things on my list are plugin editor controlled automation, generic editor for UIless plugins, count-in options for recording and auto-save options. Maybe I can soon find time to implement the fade in/out destructive edit functions in the sound editor, so you don’t have to go to an external editor.

The automation/UI stuff being next is great! And the offline bouncing will be fab when it comes!

ZynewaveKeymasterooi, what’s the count on registered users?
25-30. Still a long way to go before Steinberg will feel threatened π

I’ve seen the forums at cubase.net, and communication does not seem to be Steinberg’s strong point. Podium users are blessed in this area. It also seems that Steiny users get “flashy new stuff” with updates that should have been more real bug fixes. Again, we’re lucky.
Maybe we’re a small group, but I think we could consider ourselves elite. π

francoisParticipantπ Yep shure we are , i think since i am using Podium i never had a crash , the communication on the forum is the best we can hope , everyone is patient enough to wait for the improvement he or she is looking for…By the way , are there some “She” π
We are blessed , and thanks Mr Frits!
