SerendipityParticipantHi,
First post in a long time. I began unwinding the secrets of Podium after getting it quite some time ago but unfortunately shortly after that my desire to make music just vanished rapidly due to personal circumstances. I’m now trying to re-learn from scratch. We, or at least I, need a Podium for Dummies book-video-DVD-or whatever! 😆Anyway, I’ve just aquired EZdrummer and Toneport UX1 so I forsee lots and lots of questions in the days to come.
I have one now. Using Podium 1.60 I can’t see my DrumGroup header in the mixer. Have I screwed up or is this a bug of some sort?

PodianerParticipantit is not a bug. Since Frits implemented some nice features to reduce clutter, you have more options on what so see in the mixer view. On the right you have the “view” button. I assume you have selected “compact chained audio tracks”. Try to play around with the settings to fine the look and workflow that suits you best.
Hope that helped.

PodianerParticipantby the way. could you please confirm a crash for me? I have the toneport, too, and everytime my Winamp is open and I try to open Podium, I get a blue screen. Is this the same with your DAW? Hopefully you have Winamp installed. 😕
The dll that causes the crash is the driver of the toneport.

Hi Max,
Actually I had seen those features and played around with most of them…just not the “compact chained audio tracks” 😳
Thanks for the quick help. I’m relieved now and won’t have bad nightmares about lost DrumGroups 😆I have the toneport, too, and everytime my Winamp is open and I try to open Podium, I get a blue screen.
Unfortunately I don’t have Winamp on my DAW partition so I’ll have to get back to you about that one.
Thanks

But then the only things our computers have in common are the Toneport, Podium and Winamp. All other hardware might be different. Are you using the Toneport as a soundcard for Winamp as well? Or another soundcard?

PodianerParticipantI use the toneport as my soundcard, yes. Everytime I forget to close Winamp when opening Podium, my whole PC crashes. But I am glad that I know the reason for the crash. Thus I can avoid it.
Thanks anyway for trying!
