Topic: hard drive buffer ?

    Hi,
    When I play 5 or 6 16 channels audio files at the same time, it occurs some audio drop outs, small irregular audio silences on some tracks.
    Since the CPU does not jump to high values in this case, I suppose it is due to a streaming problem from the drive ?
    In Nuendo 2, I can play 10 or 12 files (16 channels, 16 bits, 48 kHz) on the same machine without any drop out (but with 12 files, the HD indicator of Nuendo goes near to 100 % !).
    Is there a way to know the use of the HD in Podium, and have a control to the disk buffers size ?

    The next release 1.35 will have speed optimizations of the graphics. I’ll look at speed-optimizing the disk streaming code in a later release. That includes adding a disk bandwidth indicator next to or combined with the CPU indicator.
