Topic: Have MIDI arrangemen. Now need stereo mix.

    I’m sorry, but I can’t put this together in my mind without some input.

    I have a MIDI arrangement and want to mix it down to a final stereo mix. I’m sure the verbage is not aligned with Podium’s concepts so forgive me, I’m still getting a handle on how bouncing relates to a mixing a a final stereo image, etc.

    When you render the bounce sound on the master track, you capture a copy of the mix you are hearing on your master output speakers/headphones.

    Not sure if that is of any help to you. Otherwise you’ll have to provide more specific questions.

    The bounce function is what others would call a mixdown? Once I bounce the master track, I should have a wave file associated with it – correct? I can then just grab that wave file as my master stereo mix?
