I’m testing out Podium. I’m trying to get a handle on the piano roll. So far it seems very configurable. I found the options which let you define how the select and pen tools work, but I still can’t quite get what I want.
Normally in most piano rolls I’ve used, when I add a note with the pen tool, I can drag up and down to position the note – all in one step. As well, as I drag the note its auditioned with each step. This way you can quickly add a note and find exactly where it should go.
How can I do this in Podium? The only drag behavior I can see is either velocity or note size. Nothing for note position. Is it possible?
