I’ve been experimenting with the Podium demo a bit more, and a few more questions came up:

    1) I just bought a new audio/midi card. In my old projects Podium still shows my old card as devices. How could I change that to the new one for the old projects? I was only able to make a new empty project, which checked my new interface all right.

    2) I tried the GUI customization and somehow got rid of all the menu buttons. So I don’t even have the menu buttons to make them come back anymore! 😆 Should I just reinstall the demo or what?

Hmm, for 2) I managed to get a different display by selecting the mixer screen from some key. In there I got to the menus and managed to put the toolbar back into the Arrange view…

Still, how about if I had removed the toolbar from all the views? Maybe there should be a key shortcut to get to the GUI edit menus at least, so there would be no possibility of a “dead end”?

Where is this GUI info kept? I didn’t see any files that looked like it.

    1) Manually edit the names of your old output mappings and delete/duplicate new mappings to match the number of inputs/outputs on your new card. Adjust the starting channel number in any new mappings you create.

    2) The editor profiles are stored in the Podium.ini file. You can reset this with the “Load default setup” menu command (available in the upper left corner of the project start page). Reinstalling Podium will not affect the Podium.ini file.

Where is that Podium.ini supposed to be? I did a search on C: and didn’t find it at all.

    Ah, okay thanks.

I should read through the guide finally… 😳
