I really like the horizontal<<<<< formation of tracks that you get when you choose the Hide Track Lane option in Podium.
It lets me work with more vertical space in the arranger as all the child tracks are on the same horizontal level as the Parent track.
However…I noticed that if you wrap a track or add a new child track, it is not possible say with a 1 Parent, 3 child track configuration, to Hide all Track Lanes, currently we have to do this for each Lane or track, one at a time. 🙁
Unless there is some way to do this already can we please have a Hide all Track Lanes option added to the right click menu?
That way I could simply right click on the Parent track and choose Hide all track lanes or Hide all lanes (Effectively bringing all tracks in a group *Child and Parent*) onto the same horizontal level.
Of course I can easily still access all the controls I need from the mixer and see what is inside hidden track lanes. This is one of the best aspects of Podium.
This type of workflow gives me much more vertical space in the arranger allowing me to work with many more tracks on screen as I could for instance have up to 5 or more wrapped tracks or FX tracks taking up vertical space but by simply hiding them, those 5 tracks take the place of just one. 😉 Great Podium flexibility.
The right click option Hide all lanes, or Hide all Track Lanes would allow me to hide all of them horizontally in one click. Not to be confused with Hide Tracks in Group which hides the track in one click but does not quite display the tracks in the same way horizontally as the Hide track lane does…<<<<< 😉
