    Runs fine on my 4 year old laptop, and I honestly don’t think that a computer 6 to 8 years old would have difficulty, again depending on VSTs. You will find the heaviest usage will be the plugins you insert, I believe.

    Actually I bought it BECAUSE it runs smoothly on my netbook. 😆

    As for heavy VST’s
    only DSK is problematic but, they’re the same for my dual core desktop.

    only other plugin I can think of that tends to be heavy is TranceDrive when the voices are set at like 32. I usually set to 12 cause the voices can have a LONG life.

    I run it on a Sony Vaio 2.4ghz, 4gig ram laptop and yes Vista…yuk. Vista sucks – but it’s what I have at the moment. I’m looking to upgrade to a new laptop this year…hoping Win 7 will be ample – as if I really have much choice in the matter.
