LevendisParticipantHello readytowok,
The address of your setup folder is:
…Users(YOUR USERNAME)AppDataRoamingZynewavePodiumI’m not sure why Setup>Restore Default Setup doesn’t work for you?!
Here is the default setup and an alternate configuration file (my setup):
Default Podium Setup

ZynewaveKeymasterDid you get this sorted?
If you use the Setup>Restore Default Setup menu command, it should recreate the Podium.ini file with all the default profiles.
If you change any of the other settings, such as audio/midi devices, do these settings also reset when you close/start up Podium again?

The TelenatorParticipantIf it hasn’t changed, the Russian keyboard (non-phonetic version) possesses 7 (seven) keys that make hotkey use in all DAWs a bit tricky. The only solution I know of is that one must memorize those seven as set out in QWERTY format.

readytowokParticipantI solved this problem. simply created a user with the English letters
it seems Podium FREE can not read path/dir when the Russian letters are present

That is probably the cause. Support for unicode file paths was first introduced in Podium 3.1.1.

KirillParticipantI have the same problem. When user has Russian name(e.g. Administrator is Администратор in Russian Windows), Podium Free is not able to read/write setup.
Maybe it’s OK with Unicode Podium, but will be Podium Free updated to support Unicode?
But anyway I don’t understand why non-Unicode version has this problem – ANSI_CHAR in Windows API supports Russian…And it would be great if Podium would store settings in a folder where .exe is, not in AppData.

Eventually Podium Free 3.1.1 with Unicode support will be released. Can’t say when, but I intend to update Podium Free to 3.0 after the next Podium release.
