I imported a midi file and all of the individual instruments came in, but there is no master track.

How do I create a master track and add all of the individual midi tracks as child tracks?

The master track should be created automatically if any of the instruments mapped to the midi tracks use audio. So if your instruments are VSTi plugins then the master should be created.

There isn’t an easy way to add a master track to an arrangement that has been created as a no-audio arrangement. Make sure that your project has a complete device setup, before you import the midi file.

What I did was create a master track, then added the other tracks to this master group track. That got everything under the master track. I then setup the audio output of the master track. I still have to test this guy out though. I think it will work.
