I’ve gone through them 1 by 1 here are the results…
I’ve set up a 4 bar loop, with no more than 3 noted played simultaneously…

EffEm – yes

EVM Grand Piano – yes (but very subtle)
EZ-Poli (krakli) -yes
FreeAlpha – no
Gargoyle – no
Lizard (krakli) – no
Chimera – yes
Vurtbox – yes
Morphoza – no
Neokiller III -yes (very high cpu though)
Richman2 – yes
String Theory – yes
Stringz – yes
4front bass – no
4front epiano – no
4front piano – no
Ninja – no
Oatmeal – yes (played note stops after pop)
Poliblit – yes (played note stops after pop)
Rebel2 – no
Rez – yes
Sampletank 2 free – no
I tried all the above in Tracktion… None pop with the exception of Neokiller II with latency set to 2ms. If I increase latency to 10ms the problem goes away.
If I bounce render offline there are no pops even with with the worst setting on Neokiller II.
