When your reverb plugin will be finished 😛 could you add some little-but-usefull enhancements in the sound editor ?
– deselect a channel also mutes it
– keyboard shortcuts for “Set Segment Start Here” and for segment end
– Ctrl+A keyboard shortcut for select all (or double click, or edit menu or what you want…)
One other thing :
When I edit some big audio file (800 Mb or more, with 16 or 18 channel actually), Podium is VERY long before calculating a change. I suppose that it is because it makes a copy for undo, but in the explorer a 1 Gb file copy takes 30″, here it can take more than 5 minutes for a cut of a few seconds !
The same when I save the sound, it can take up to 10 minutes to do, and sometimes the screen is white.
The pop up time indicator when saving is sometimes frozen or doesn’t appear at all.
I can’t compare with other softwares, because no other can do what Podium cans 🙂 , but it seems nevertheless very long…
I have also some clicks (read only) after a process, so I often need to shut down Podium and reopen.
I have had also two times some clicks that have been added to the file : one time on the begining, seemed aleatory, one other just on a channel, it was a periodic click during about 1 minute.
I had the original file so I’m sure that it was not there before !
This does not happends whith little files of 100 or 200 Mb, so I suppose that it is relative to the way that Podium swap the temporary files ?
Of course, I don’t make anything on the computer during while it works, and no other process is running.
