The manual is indeed something very important for new users, and older ones coming back. But hosts that are developed not by a company of 80 wild looking code wizards but one genius would rely on the users. Reaper, for example, with 3 developers now, has a 400+ pages manual, but it is run by a user. EnergyXT in its quirkyness relied on many users (I was a part of it once^^) who helped out.
You could remember your initial problems, and write them down in a few steps – and send the doc to Frits, for example 🙂 Or add to the Wiki. The only solution I see is taking the load off from Frits and start a user-built manual. I know that many test Podium, but some can’t get their head around it, the learning curve still seems steep.
