darthstephenParticipanthello
when i open up the manystation vsti gui in 1.63, podium crashes. i can open the gui once and it is okay, but the second time i open the gui podium crashes. i’m new, so i don’t know if i’m doing something wrong. i have a new arrangement and i add a track. i go to the mapping menu and drag the manystation vsti into the new track. click to open gui once, everything is okay. close and open again and podium crashes…any thoughts?
thanks

ZynewaveKeymasterIs that ManyStation 1 or 2?
I went to the Manytone site, but there doesn’t seem to be a downloadable demo version. I think ManyStation is based on the Wusikstation engine, which is available as a demo. Have you tried Wusikstation?

this is manystation 2, which i believe is based on the wusikstation 2 engine…i have not tried it, but will attempt to duplicate it now with the wusik stastion demo. wusik is version 3 now, so i don’t know if there is still a demo for 2…

darthstephenParticipanti don’t see a demo for wusikstation 2 anymore on the wusik site. i will email the manystation developer and see if we can get you a copy or work out the bug.

No.
I have just emailed manytone, asking if he would be interested in swapping a manystation NFR license for a Podium license.

thanks, man. not every developer is as great as you are on the support side. i have never waited more than a few hours for a response from you…not that i ever have problems with podium 8)

kingtubbyParticipantI’ve been away for a bit, but I’ve just tried Manystation2 with 1.64 and it works fine here. Probably doesn’t help you though…. 😕

i haven’t tried 1.64 yet…i’ll see today. also, my wusik samples are on another drive, maybe that’s causing problems. just a thought.

ZynewaveKeymasterI have now installed ManyStation 2.2.8 and tested it in Podium. I actually made the plugin crash the very first time I ran it by closing and opening the editor two or three times. Since then I have not made it crash. The first time I ran the plugin I needed to input the serial code in the dialog popup, so I’m guessing that this could have provoked the crash. I’ve read reports on kvr for various plugins that had crash problems during authorization.
I read a post by ManyTone on kvr that the problem was fixed for you by updating to the latest ManyStation version. Is this true? If so I won’t go further with my bug-hunting.

yes, sorry i didn’t post that here immediately. i appreciate your time. i guess i had 2.2.4 and i updated to 2.2.8, that solved it. i guess they’re working on a better system to let people know about updates. i just bought and downloaded this a few weeks ago and was unaware of an update…thanks again.
