Hi all. I’m using Podium for a long time and I’m glad to use it. It’s fun, clear, effective and as good as any other pro DAWs in the market. I use to work mainly with MIDI (and sometimes combined with audio). For audio editing we have enough tools (that’s my opinion) and effects, but for MIDI there aren’t so much.
I miss, for example a tool which provides the possibility to double or divide the tempo for a MIDI sequence or event. I mean that I have a sequence written in 8ths and I would like to double it in 16ths (shortening their lenght) or divide it in 4ths (extending their lenght) keeping fixed the tempo of the song.
I miss too functions for randomize notes in a range, not only in the time grid but in the tone scale.
So, I know that there are functions such as MIDI echo and/or MIDI delay implemented in other programs which do this kind of things, but I haven’t been able to find it in Podium.
Has someone else this feeling? Maybe I’m wrong (it’s perfectly possible) and it exists, but where or how?
Thanks a lot to Frits and all of the people who support this project.
Javier.
