Sorry for the silly question, but I cannot find a Midi in available on my computer. How does one acquire a Midi in?

No, you don’t need that for bounce.
Midi In are devices that send midi data to your host (podium). You’ll need them if you want use a midi controller (like a pcr300, google it and you will understand). If you don’t own a midi controller, then you don’t need midi in at all.
