I’ve just started using Podium with the free version, and would have already bought the full version except for this one problem.
I have a Yamaha keyboard with a usb connection, and yes, it is working fine with other software.
When I try to get midi input in podium, nothing is passed to the VST instruments. The Midi icon in Podium flashes green as if it recognizes the actual midi input. Also on some certain notes, they actually hit some shortcut like toggling the inspector panel or opening a selection popup for anything I have focused. Could it be that my midi keyboard is treated as Playback controller rather than an instrument. Also worth mentioning is that when I have podium open, the midi input will also toggle something in other open programs. Like if I switch to a web browser with Podium open on the background, playing a note will refresh a web page. (Probably input processed as F5 or something).
If I close podium, this “feature” will also disappear.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a possible bug? I will try the demo version also to see if it also has the same issue. Could even buy the full version if I just know how to fix this.

    Hi,

Deselect the MIDI input/output on the Control Surfaces page in the Audio/MIDI dialog. Selecting devices on this page requires that the devices can emulate the Mackie MCU control surface.
