Topic: MIDI interface setup is limited to one input and one output.

    Means, a multi-output drummachine is not allowed in Podium FREE.

    I’m I right? I’m upgrading next month but just wanted to know.

    Are you talking about hardware or software? If you’re talking about software (VSTi) you won’t have any problem. If you’re talking about hardware that needs more that one MIDI input you will have 16 channels in a single output, if your hardware needs more than that, it would be a weird drummachine 🙂

    Software Drummachine. 😆 When I select DM output 3 is there another step to hear and record. I’m only able to hear and record DM 1+2 output.

    At first it looks odd how Podium deals with multi outs but after a second it makes a lot of sense and its easy to set every channel up and save as a template for future use or whole projects.
    I have a project template for Rock oriented (guitar and realistic drums) music and another one for electronic music which uses Drumaxx and Microtonic with multi outs.
    Those vids were of great help.

    My pleasure 🙂 The key of those videos is understand the first one and its scheme. Once you learn it create devices is a natural and easy skill.
