    Hello,

I’m looking for a way to control MIDI note velocities in recorded MIDI sequence. I know I can edit individual note velocities in piano roll, but I’d like to leave them as is and instead having some global velocity ‘volume’ parameter which would basically ‘scale’ individual note velocities – similar to ‘Audio volume’ in audio tracks, preferrably including the same smart automation mechanism.

Is something like that already possible? If not, is it a planned feature, or should I just change my workflow 😉 ?

It’s not possible currently. It will be possible once Podium supports MIDI plugins, and you can find a MIDI plugin that has a parameter that scales velocities of MIDI note events.

I see, thank you for your prompt answer. I guess you already know which question am I going to ask next – do you have any rough estimation when MIDI plugins will be supported?

    thanks

I was planning to look at it soon, since the previous release dealt with VST support. But I haven’t started to look at it yet.
