Topic: Midi out?

    I’m not sure if this is possible yet. I would like to use Chordspace which is a midi out VSTi to control a 2nd VSTi (with audio out).

    Currently I use miniHost anb route the midi from there into POdium but I would prefer to do this within Podium directly?

    Possible yet and if not any ideas as to when?

    Not possible yet, and it’s not coming until after I have implemented SRC/time-stretching.

    Bummer… I would much sooner have this than the SRC/time-stretching stuff, but then that’s just one guy.

    @darcy:While I am definitely still very interested in time stretching in Podium I think if Frits would allow it, I would want to see your FR in Podium first as well, so I guess that makes three of us.

    @Frits: I know you are trying to suspend the smaller features to put in the big one’s 😉 and of course that decision is yours, but I guess sometimes existing user feature priorities, can change between updates.

    Implementing plugin MIDI out streaming will require several days of work, so I don’t consider it a minor feature.

    I have a small todo.txt where I write stuff I need to implement before starting on major features. It seems that every time I almost get this list erased, some issues discussed on the forum gets added to the bottom. It’s been a while since I last did something “fun”, so only bugfixes will be added to this list in the coming weeks.

    SRC and Time Stretching are both important for Podium. Have fun coding them, we will have fun using them 🙂

    No worries. You of course will know development wise better than we do from your perspective as Podiums developer. 😉

    Your choices have been pretty good to say the least so far, also I think we all want you to have fun doing what you do. 😉
