adimatisParticipantHi evb!
I am delighted to be a new user of Podium (Free …for now) just started to get a little bit into it. So far is great. A while ago I gave it a try, but I suppose I was just too lazy to really get to know it and I abandoned. But now I just don’t understand why I did that!…

I like the simplicity of this program, but love the interface and the features – there are still many to implement, but I am ready to wait – and the workflow I find to be quite easy and without major headache. I also use Reaper, and while this one is more feature-packed, Podium gives me a fresh, friendly interface that I just love.
So, thank you for allowing me to use a great program for free, and most likely, after a while, I will move on to the paid version.
See you on the next post! š

PulseParticipantHey mate, hello to you as well.
As the saying goes – welcome aboard the ship.
Yes, you got that right, Podium certainly requires a little more time than usual to get to grips with the unique terminology it uses and way of working in general. Yet after that crucial period (or at least judging based on my subjective experience) of introducement, things change drastically if one is patient enough. Then it all becomes pure pleasure.
On the other side, this critical period is very much a “deal-breaker” methinks, for those who need fast workflow and quick results, and with little – if not at all – patience and sense of adventure. So yeah, definitely some workflow, management and core features need be considered to draw more people. But honestly speaking, I enjoy being underground šYes, sometimes all is interrupted by the lack of some (vital) features, but hey, even the guys over at Steiny’s or Caky’s forums (to name but a few) complain about features they need š or some other issues they have, and those two are some pretty expansive and big corporations, probably with many hundreds of employees if not more, not a one-man army like Frits.
So Podium is definitely the place of both compromises and compliments.

adimatisParticipantMy needs right now are not extreme at all. Just digging into Podium, but I like it more and more. It is quite deep and detailed program, it just takes patience and good amount of hours for studying by practice. Not very intuitive for all the functions, but quite straight forward for hte basic recording/editing.
It is definitely growing on me!
