soundquistParticipantI have a problem that Podium suddenly doesn’t record the keyboard sustain pedal in MIDI sequences. I believe it is something called CC 64. Works in other hosts. It’s quite a time since i recorded in Podium so I can’t tell when it started really.
The MIDI i/o indicator blinks when I press the pedal.
Works OK to play but when I play back the recorded seq the sustain pedal data isn’t there. Is it supposed to show up in the event list?
Pitch bend and modulation is recorded perfectly.
I tried different plugins but with the same result.
What have I done? 🙁

PodianerParticipantI had this problem too. You need to create a parameter for sustain. Use the forum search and you will find a thread with an explanation of how to do it.

Thanks, Podianer! Quick response! Obviously I should have done a search before posting… 😳
This seems to be the the tread:

Has it been like this all the time? Have I never recorded with the sustain pedal? Maybe…
It seems I have to create this parameter for every plugin I want to use the sustain pedal with. It must be one of the most used parameters. Why isn’t it created by defualt, as pitch bend etc is?

I asked this question myself many times. Perhaps Frits should change that.
I’m glad it works now for you.

I think that would not be an unreasonably request. Thanks again.

ZynewaveKeymasterI plan to add a menu button to the inspector parameter panel with commands for creating individual or a complete set of default MIDI parameters. This menu will also have MIDI learn etc.

wanyzeParticipantNow that’s what I call timing, I just noticed the sustain pedal problem and searched in the forum first. Zynewave, a parameter panel to create individual midi parameters would be most appreciated. 😀
