Topic: No sound during automation recording

    I’am very sorry to ask for help for a such basic question, but I don’t understand where I am wrong…
    I have done this so often that I don’t understand why it doesn’t work anymore.
    I know that you will tell me stupid and you will be right ! 😳

    When I record the automation of a plugin, I cannot hear the sound on the track !?
    I think that I do like before :
    – arm the track in record (R)
    – press record and play in the transport
    – play with the plugin
    What else do I forget please ???

    It must be the old age……

    I’ve experimented with this, and I found a problem. Currently all child tracks of a record-enabled track will inherit the record mode. This means that e.g. audio tracks playing into a record enabled plugin track will be muted. I’m currently changing the way that record mode is inherited by child tracks. Originally record enabled audio tracks were not muted during recording, which I think is why you remember that it used to work. This will be fixed for the upcoming 1.94 release.

    Oh thanks ! I thought I was going mad…
    I am burning with impatience for the 1.94 !
