Hi there Fritz;
Recently I started a project with Camaleon 5000 and every time I open the project. Camaleon loads in the default preset.
I tried saving the presets in the folder but I get an error message because it is not a FXB type preset.
Is there a work around this or do I have to set the presets up every time I load up the Synth?
Later;
Germ.
Hi,
Are you using library presets? There is a short discussion about this here:

Frits
Hi,
I take advantage of this thread to ask a question concerning the way to change presets during a sequence.
I’ve seen how to use an automation track for the Presets which are stored inside the plugin, which is a very good way, but I didn’t found how to change the presets which are in the Library. Can we access them with program changes too ?
I suppose that the info is somewhere ?
And a request (yes, one more…) : it will be VERY usefull to drag / drop the Library Presets directly on sequences. It will be very fast and easy to use and will not need any automation track, it will be a propertie of that sequence.
It was an old function in Cubase ATARI which I was using all the time (without the drag & drop, only the parameter value in the inspector).
Perhaps even with the name of the preset in one corner of the sequence ?

That’s a really good idea. Currently, on the time line at the top of the sequence edit window, you can right click and ‘insert new tempo here’. Maybe a another option to ‘insert preset change’ or, as you say, drag and drop a preset on to the timeline. That would be cool 8)

“drag and drop a preset on to the timeline” this’ll be dope !

I assume you mean MIDI program changes, when you refer to automatable preset change. It is up to the receiving device what it uses program changes for. Some devices may use program changes for other things than recalling presets. You cannot automate recall of Podium library presets. They are tied to the track and they have no associated program number. Some time in the far future I may make it possible to assign presets to sequence events.

The presets need to be associated with a device assigned to a track, so dropping the preset on the time ruler, is ruled out.

Thanks!!!
Working like a charm now 😀 I know there are huge possibilities within. I just have to look in the right places 😉

Oh… I just thought that if you could drop presets on the sequence editor time-ruler of a track with a device already assigned it might work. But if you say it won’t work Frits, then I’ll just shut up.. 😉 😆
